We are already prepared to celebrate Father's Day, which (as you know) will arrive on time for your appointment on March 19. Not much is missing, therefore for girls, boys and moms to think about how to give to parents.
For now, we will start with a very original card and nothing difficult to do, so we have two weeks to plan the time and find the materials, prepare the design, etc.
There are these cards that simulate a shirt (with tie included), we have found them in Little Birdie Secrets.
Necessary materials:
- Small cardboard (A4 size) of an eye-catching color, colored folios with some type of print (stripes, dots) - it can also be wrapping paper -, two equal buttons, white glue, scissors, pencil and markers.
How we make our cards / tie:
The first thing is fold the cardboard in half to start working the cover. Then we go to the template of the tie and adjust the size in 'printing options', or copying it into a document to treat texts and activating the rule. The length must be less than five centimeters from the total of the folded cardboard vertically.

After printing the tie we pass it to the decorated paper and paste it on the card leaving three centimeters at the top, we will try to keep it centered. Then we can cut from the sides some horizontal notches that coincide with the upper end of the tie, and end at the edges of these.
The effect is complete when folding the resulting strips on themselves, they become a shirt collar that will wear buttons attached to the tail (let it dry so that it is well attached).
We can only write a text on the back with markers, sure dad is delighted with this work of art.
