El Cluedo: a game that helps children make decisions

The Cluedo was my favorite board game during some summer afternoons when I was 12: the days were long, and in addition to adventures in freedom, swimming in the pool and cycling routes, we had to do something with the time left over.

So at night we told each other scary stories and played hide and seek, and after eating, we took out game boards worn out by use and gave ourselves to the fun. In a group of 10 children, there were three Cluedo fans, and although it is much more entertaining when there are six players, I can assure you that we had a great time. Curiously, as my son grows up he likes horror books, telling scary stories and Cluedo !, just like his mother. He asked for Reyes, and they brought him a modern version that does not recall in appearance that classic of our childhood, but whose content is equally exciting.

Do you know what this game consists of?, it all starts when a millionaire man invites six people to his mansion, and one of them murders him ... players must gather clues and be very insightful to discover who has been the author, in which room of the house the crime has been committed , and what weapon he has used.

A classic to enjoy with friends or family, three to six players can participate. When it becomes experienced, Cluedo can be boring, but all children who have a detective inside can have a great time taking out the board, cards, pieces and dice

Why do I think Cluedo benefits children in their development?

It helps to make decisions and to think about solutions for complicated situations, develop the initiative because players must state rumors (and later accusations).

Above all it is an activity very good to encourage group relationships, and to learn that you can trust the partners, while trying to win, but the important thing is the emotion of the process.

And your children, do they play Cluedo?
