A delicious 'floral bouquet' made by children for Mother's Day

This is a message addressed to parents: if in your home you prefer the gifts made by yourself, surely you can find a lot of ideas to give mom in her day.

We propose a very simple craft that children can do almost without help, it is a delicious floral bouquet that will look without wilting on the bedside table, or on the kitchen bench. We have found it in Krokotak Flowers are a classic on such a designated Day, but to get these you will only have to choose materials that we all have at home, and dedicate an hour of your time to supervise children's work.

What do we need?

  • Six different tone paper, an A4 size card, scissors, glue stick, compass (optional), stapler and heat.

How to get our floral bouquet?

First we must cut nine circles of four colors and in three sizes alternating colors, then we superimpose the circles three by three combining the tones that we like the most and we paste them. While the glue dries we mount the stems, for them we will have cut a sheet of paper into three equal pieces (horizontally), the color will be different from the previous ones, and we fold each of them on themselves three or four times, until It is about a centimeter wide.

The stems are attached to the flowers with a little zeal and then a small bouquet is assembled using the stapler. The final touch is given by the folded cardboard until a support that rests well on the surface, and with the sheet that remains (the last color to use) we cut a square that will serve as pocket, for this we glue three of its sides on the cardboard and introduce the bouquet into the opening.

Surely it looks great, and as an idea of crafts for Mother's Day, we also have this one that we presented two years ago in Peques y Más: colored jars and scented cups.
