We were able to test the application ABC of the little bee for iPad and we loved its content and its functionality very well thought out and resolved especially for the little ones. Also my daughter, with 9 years, has seen it and it has seemed most practical and entertaining. The purpose of the application is for children learn the alphabet in a very practical way: associating images, drawing strokes and listening to the sounds of the letters.
The application is published in English, in Portuguese and also in Spanish, although it is Latin Spanish. It has been one of the most voted apps on iTunes and the truth is that it does not surprise me because it has very nice and very well worked graphics. It is also very fluid and has an interactivity that children can take advantage of. It has simple sounds and especially that little bee that looks out from the application by pronouncing clearly and that the children will quickly associate to that they have achieved success in their work.
And with the ABC of the bee, the children they will learn how to draw letters following the directions of the lines, joining points to learn their shapes, painting the missing part of a letter and even completing a word while improving their memory and problem solving skills in very well designed and finished scenarios.
