How to make Wonka chocolate tablets with the golden ticket inside

Surely many will know the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and even Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. My children do know them, and above all Aran, the medium one, is a declared fan of what happens in the film with the chocolate tablets and the golden ticket.

The reason he likes it so much (besides, he simply likes it), is that this Christmas we buy the story "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" in Pop-up version, and he spends the day looking at it and correcting it. A few days ago he asked me to open a chocolate tablet and it was funny to see him trying to give emotion in case the golden bill appeared (and making a face of "Ohh! It didn't come out", with a half smile of "I'm acting"). Then I had an idea: Let's make a Wonka chocolate tablet with a golden ticket inside.

Like any good Internet user, the first solution was to search online for other parents who had done something similar. I found manuals for Wonka-style parties, printable of what I was looking for, although personalized and others that served the purpose, but were not free.

Finally I found a boy who had made the chocolate tablet wrapper and the golden ticket on both sides. I printed everything and prepared to prepare the tablet.

However, I did not quite like the ticket, so when I had a while I made one myself at home, which was the one I finally introduced in the chocolate tablet.

Necessary material

We really need little: paper on which to print the templates, scissors to cut them, glue and a chocolate tablet (if it is not wrapped in silver paper, we also need silver paper).

As an option, because not everyone has at home, I leave the plasticizer. We bought one a few months ago in Lidl thrown of price, and it is perfect to plasticize the golden ticket and isolate it from the chocolate making it harder and more resistant.

Steps to follow

  • We print the chocolate tablet wrapping paper, which you will access by clicking on the following image:

  • We print the golden ticket, by clicking on the one you prefer. The first is from the same artist who made the wrap. The second is what I did. In both cases you will have to trim them and glue both sides with stick glue.

  • You put the ticket next to the chocolate tablet in the silver paper and cover it all with the wrapping paper. Stick the end with a glue stick so that it is tightly closed and put the tablet in the fridge, which is already hot.
  • The last thing, logically, is give it to your little fan of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and record it if you can, because the face is one of those that are always remembered (at least my son was very excited with his golden ticket). As it shows, I put a frame of the video I recorded:
