Fresh fruit gum candy recipe

From our blog Brother Direct to the Palate teach us a fresh fruit gum candy recipe that we can prepare at home very easily. It is a healthier alternative to industrial sweets, as well as good entertainment to spend time in the kitchen with the kids.

The preparation is so easy. The first thing to do is puree with the pulp of the fruit we have chosen, it can be tangerine, orange, strawberries (which is time), and even tropical fruits such as mango or pineapple. Once you have taken his hand, you can try new fruits.

The only ingredient that you find strange in the recipe is agar or agar-agar, a new ingredient in the kitchen ideal for gelling your dishes (much better than traditional jelly).

The other necessary ingredients are sugar and mineral water. The preparation is placed in a mold in the refrigerator and must be allowed to cool for at least one hour. Then they cut, batter in sugar and voila! What is very easy?

If they are left over, they can be stored for a few days in a closed container in the refrigerator, but without the sugar.

Industrial rubber candies are composed of 70 to 80% sugar, in addition to gelatin-shaped proteins, artificial flavors and colors. With this recipe we have a healthy alternative, without dyes or flavorings so that children (and the elderly) take a small whim.

You can see the full recipe in the blog Direct to the Palate.

At the request of Pastor y Canals S.A. We have made changes to this post. In the place where we now write "jellybeans"I used to put "Jelly beans", which is a registered trademark of said company and does not allow us to use it.
