Duck Stewie learns to swim

This book was born after a tragic event, the loss of a child. Stew and Kim are the authors of the book and those who have lived an experience that has marked them forever and who pretend that no one else goes through it, lost their 21-month-old boy who died drowned.

After this event, they created a foundation with the name of their son and whose funds raised are destined to finance swimming scholarships and the acquisition of equipment that guarantees water safety.

A couple of years later, they wrote a storybook for children ages two to six with messages about water safety, Stewie the Duck Learns to Swim. This book was awarded the National Prize for Youth Information on Aquatic Safety granted by the National Congress of Aquatic Safety, so good is the message that these parents want to give to children who use it in the courses and have sold more than 40 thousand copies. The benefits have gone to the foundation. The book has reached different states of the United States, bumping into a lot of Spanish-speaking population, so the book has been translated into Spanish, now Duck Stewie Learn to Swim It is available to many more children. He tells the story of the duck Stewie who wants to swim with the big ducks, but his sisters don't allow it until he learns the basic safety rules in the aquatic environment.

At the moment we do not know if it has reached the libraries of our country, in the source of the news they indicate where it can be purchased online at a very economical price. But let's not forget that parents should teach our children the safety measures they should take in the water from a very young age, even so, we should not detach from them until they have sufficient autonomy.
